AMOVA jewelry represented by its creative director Svetlana Abramova is taking part in the XII Moscow International Art Show “CENTRAL HOUSE OF ARTISTS – 2009” open between 20th and 29th of March exposing works of jewelry art related to the topic of “Time”. The show features exhibits of various galleries, companies and artists. In total, 19 creative unions, 29 projects, 21 associations and 128 independent arists are represented. The show is organized by International Confederation of Artists Unions and Intergovernmental Humanitarian Collaboration Fund of CIS States. Art Show “Central House of Artists – 2009” is powered by Foreign Ministry and Culture Ministry of Russian Federation as well as Russian Academy of Arts.

Amova – is young artist, who inherited the traditions of the Russian jewelry art school. The art principle of her works lies in associative figurativeness, which always characterized the art – works of Russian jewelers in the context of world trends. The works of Svetlana are poetic and elegant due to her mastery of jewelry craft.
The artist is developing rather successfully. The first public performance of Svetlana was in 2005, at the contest of Young Designers “In new interpretation”, for designers who work with diamond jewelry. The Contest has been carried out for several years by the diamond mining company ALROSA. The following year the work of Svetalana Amova has received the Second Prize for the best exposition at the International Exhibition of Jewelry “Amber Trip” in Vilnius.
In the same year of 2006, at the International Exhibition “Golden Globe” in Moscow the jewelry sketches of the artist were awarded. In 2006-2007 Amova exhibits her worls is several countries of Europe.

State Museum of Amber decided to purchase twin brooches “The Reverse of Midnight” for its collection.
In Moscow, in Central House of Artists on the Krymsky Val took place Modern Art Exhibition. In “Modern Applied Art” section were exhibited Amova Company works.
Designer Jewelry exposition “Yaroslavl’. Reflexion in the heart” took place in Yaroslavl’, in Nuzhin City Exhibition Hall as one of the events dedicated to celebration of the Day of the City. The exhibition took place in auspices of Yaroslavl’ Townhall and Yaroslavl’ History Museum. The exposition featured designer works by Svetlana Abramova, leading designer of Amova Company. The exhibition was open from May 25 to June 25.
On the celebration of 15th anniversary of the largest Russian IT-service company “Croc” “Diamond defile” organized by AMOVA Jewelry and Russian Jewelry Company was presented.
At the sound of fascinating voice of Frank Sinatra was shown the unique collection of luxurious jewellery sets that left no guest indifferent.
The celebration took place in Hermitage Garden and was attended by more than 1000 guests, among them notorious representatives of IT sector, directors of the largest Russian and foreign companies, journalists of business and IT-media.
The party was concluded by a display of fireworks.
Pieces presented for the contest, “The Nature of Harmony” brooch and “The Pendulum of Bliss” hairgrips that received diplomas of Young Jewelry Designers International Contest “Image and Form” are exhibited in St. Petersburg, on designer jewelry exposition that took place in the Marble Hall of Russian Ethnography Museum.
“Jewelry Art and Jewelry Business” A defile took place at the Symposium featuring a range of jewelry made using elaborate technique of plique-a-jour and cloisonne baking enamel.
In the beginning of April a prestigious international contest of young jewelry designers “Image and Form” dedicated to ART BIONICA took place in St. Petersburg. Svetlana Abramova, the leading designer of Amova Company, had presented for the contest two designer works. Both received diplomas and qualified for semi-final and final of the contest. Brooch “The Nature of Harmony” and hairgrips “The Pendulum of Bliss” were made using original sophisticated casting technique.
